Storm Nation Code of Ethics & Member Rules
- Storm Nation members shall not discriminate against anyone in their hiring practices or business dealings regardless of race, color, creed, gender, sexual preference, social or financial status.
- Storm Nation members shall not publicly bash, defame or speak in a negative light regarding any contractor, insurance carrier, or insurance restoration industry professional or group.
- Storm Nation members shall respect all other Storm Nation members anonymity.
- Storm Nation members will not share/post or copy the materials or content contained within the organization with non-members on any platform including all social media outlets.
- Storm Nation members shall not publicly post (social media or otherwise) any claim specifics or related information including but not limited to: scope of loss, contracts and amounts, names, addresses etc.
- Storm Nation membership and content is exclusive to named/paid member(s) only.
- Storm Nation members shall not operate or engage in practices in any shape, form or fashion that could misinform or be damaging to the public, storm nation members, the organization or any of our vendors or affiliates.
- Storm Nation members agree to be truthful, honest and forthright regarding his/her/their products, services, fees/charges and act in good faith in all business dealings and personal transactions with the public, storm nation members, vendors and affiliates.
- Storm Nation members shall report any storm nation member they are aware of that is in violation of any rule or code outlined within this document or site (all reports are kept anonymous).
- Storm Nation members shall adhere to and install all jobs according to IRC/IBC building codes within the States they operate in.
- Storm Nation members must be licensed in any jurisdiction required and carry all necessary insurances and certifications.
- Storm Nation members shall provide and service workmanship warranties of 2 years or greater on every project for every customer.
- Storm Nation members agree to practice, enforce and stay compliant within the OSHA safety guidelines and regulations for their employees, independent representatives and subcontractors on every project; residential and commercial.
- Storm Nation members agree to repair or replace all damages supplemented for on every insurance claim.
- Storm Nation members agree to inspect every property thoroughly on every claim as outlined in Storm Nation Education.
- Storm Nation members agree to operate their businesses ethically and with integrity.
- Storm Nation members agree to perform all work using quality materials and skilled labor installing each product according to manufacturer’s installation instructions to support valid warranties.
- Storm Nation members agree to properly train all employees, independent representatives and subcontractors for their respective job titles, projects and tasks.
- Storm Nation members shall not engage in any unethical behavior such as rebating (covering deductibles) or encouraging property owners to “break” contracts with competitors.
- Storm Nation members participating in organization programs shall adhere to all rules regarding the individual program (ex: in the lead, i.c.a.n, storm nation education)
